Jenny's Story

Jenny’s singing journey began at a young age, her earliest memories are of singing to her family. During a family holiday age 4, she first watched West Side Story...on repeat, which sparked a lifelong passion for music and performance.

In school, Jenny was already playing leading roles school musicals and carol services, quickly becoming a standout talent. Her early achievements also included numerous awards at local feiseanna, showcasing her natural ability.

Driven by her passion for music, she auditioned for the prestigious Leinster School of Music, where she was accepted to study under the guidance of celebrated soprano Dr. Veronica Dunne. However, as she pursued her love for singing, she also followed her parents’ advice to secure a Science qualification.

Jenny continued her musical ambitions after College by joining Dun Laoghaire Musical and Dramatic Society. There, she earned leading roles in multiple productions and was nominated for two AIMS Awards (Association of Irish Musical Societies). Jenny was also involved in founding Anthems Singers, a small gospel choir, with whom she performed regularly and further honed her vocal abilities.

In 2017, Jenny’s talent was recognized on an even larger stage when she auditioned for IRFU to perform at the Women’s Rugby World Cup. She was selected to sing the Italian national anthem, a performance that drew on her extensive classical training. This experience led to an ongoing role performing national anthems for the Women's 6-Nations Championship, and she has since sung the national anthems for Ireland, Scotland, England, France, and Australia.

One of Jenny’s most memorable performances occurred in 2024 when she had the honour of performing both "Fratelli d'Italia" and "Amhrán na bhFiann" in front of 52,000 spectators at the Aviva Stadium during the Men's 6-Nations. This was a pinnacle of her singing career.

So, after a 20 year career in Nutrition and Pharmaceuticals, Jenny is leaving the Corporate world to commit to her music full time. Outside of her solo career, Jenny also enjoys performing with her husband, Paul, a talented traditional Irish musician. You may find Paul leading a Trad session at O'Donoghue's Pub in Dublin 2, and together they bring a unique blend of classical and traditional Irish music to their performances.

With her classical training, vast vocal experience in every genre and versatile vocal abilities, Jenny guarantees to provide stunning performances, offering an unforgettable musical experience that will suit any occasion.
